The goal is to simply be a help for all in becoming more as our Father in Heaven and Savior, Jesus Christ are.
Imagine existence where all are perfect, one in mind and heart, and full of safety, freedom, and joy—where all are loved ones and near, there is no disposition to do evil, none are poor in any measure, and all know all things. Each of us having and enjoying this existence is the work of our Father in Heaven, our Savior, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost helping us ALL become as they are.
The first commandment given and first directive in how to be like Father and Christ is the prime directive of existence:
"And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it:" - Genesis 1: 28
It's about FAMILY--the Noble Heritage and Beautiful FAMILY background we all have as Cherished Princesses and Princes of the Royal FAMILY of God. So the goal is to zero in on and unclutter & strengthen marriage & family, body, and spiritual attributes. This means removing—subduing whatever excess, deficit, or difficulty might be impeding their well-being and flourishing—multiplying and replenishing. This includes providing what is needed so that the lack of any such need does not also impede well-being. Getting things just-right, on-mark, no-more-no-less, sufficient, and enough is the target. Jesus Christ is the Master Exemplar, Director, Guide, Healer, and Savior in all this. The rest of us are invited to be faithful, diligent, and joyful apprentices—and recipients of His uncluttering—perfecting power.

Uncluttering is living in our Father in Heaven's "manner of happiness."
Can you imagine our "all-knowing" Father being weighed down by the clutter of excess, deficit, or difficulty? Our Father in Heaven is giving away the secrets of the universe, peace, happiness, and freedom to all who properly turn to Him. It must be done as He Directs... because He is the only One who knows all things. It begins with "Help Thou my unbelief!" Unbelief is belief in that which is untrue, and not believing that which is true.
"For there are many yet on the earth among all sects, parties, and denominations (and ideologies), who are blinded by the subtle craftiness of men, whereby they lie in wait to deceive (deliberately or unwittingly), and who are only kept from the truth because they know not where to find it— Therefore, that we should waste and wear out our lives in bringing to light all the hidden things of darkness, wherein we know them; and they are truly manifest from heaven— These should then be attended to with great earnestness." - Doctrine and Covenants 123: 12-14
Removing debris from our lives
Russell M. Nelson, in General Conference, April 2021 said: "The huge project to renovate the Salt Lake Temple continues. From my office I have a front-row seat to watch the work taking place on the temple plaza. As I have watched workers dig out old tree roots, plumbing, wiring, and a leaky fountain, I have thought about the need for each of us to remove, with the Savior’s help, the old debris in our lives. The gospel of Jesus Christ is a gospel of repentance. Because of the Savior’s Atonement, His gospel provides an invitation to keep changing, growing, and becoming more pure. It is a gospel of hope, of healing, and of progress. Thus, the gospel is a message of joy! Our spirits rejoice with every small step forward we take. Part of the gathering of Israel, and a very important part, is the charge for us as a people to be worthy and willing to help prepare the world for the Second Coming of the Lord. As we listen to the messages that have been carefully prepared by our leaders under the direction of the Holy Ghost, I invite you to pray to identify the debris you should remove from your life so you can become more worthy."
The litmus test for what is true and what is not—and finding Christ
Russell M. Nelson, in General Conference, April 2024 said: "In this conference, the Lord has spoken to us through His servants. I urge you to study their messages. Use them as a litmus test of what is true and what is not during the next six months. The preservation and renovation of the Salt Lake Temple and other areas on Temple Square have been underway for nearly five years. Present projections indicate that this work will be completed by the end of 2026. We are grateful for all who are working on this massive project. During the last six months, we have dedicated or rededicated nine temples in five countries. Between now and the end of the year, we will dedicate five more. Today we are pleased to announce plans to construct 17 more temples. Brothers and sisters, now is the time for you and for me to prepare for the Second Coming of our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ. Here is my promise to you: Every sincere seeker of Jesus Christ will find Him in the temple. You will feel His mercy. You will find answers to your most vexing questions. DREAMS
Directed Replenishing Earth And Multiplying-Subduing Such
The first commandment is to "Be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth and subdue it and have dominion." - Genesis 1: 28.To this end, we are given the Celestial Gift of... "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." - Matthew 22: 37-40.
The Lord's purpose in giving us DREAMS and desires that move us in the direction—under His Direction—of being fruitful and filling the measure of our creation and having fullness of joy as we live after the manner of happiness. "Follow your dreams" is a common thing in the world. Without God in the focus... "dreams" becomes lowercase and just the adversary seeking to influence us in choosing counterfeit or distracting beliefs, and desires. The adversary's goal is to dissuade all from who they really are and all they are really meant and able to become. His goal is to keep us all from understanding the purpose of the earth and out God-given role upon it to dress it and keep it that it might help us as Princesses and Princes in the Divine Royal Family and Kingdom of our Heavenly Parents and Savior—Lord of Lords and King of Kings. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the Constitution of all Creation and the Covenant path of Happiness and Wholeness-Holiness of all. Without such all creation is forever in confusion and commotion. With such God is creating Oneness and becoming even as He is—All of us, His children, becoming full of Light and Truth even as He is. When Adam and Eve left His presence Father declared that they had entered the curriculum He knows intimately by His own experience and that He has set Adam and Eve on (and all of us) that is the very Path or Way of fulfilling the commandment given to us all by the Lord Himself: "Therefore I would that ye should be perfect even as I, or your Father who is in heaven is perfect." (3 Nephi 12: 48; Matthew 5: 48). This means to be and become fruitful and complete by continuing in the Gospel process of multiplying and replenishing the earth and subduing it and having "dressing and keeping" dominion over it. In other words, understand who you really are and learn the lessons needed to love and honor such and make all of creation the best it can be in the process—this earth and worlds without number and endless lives. It is a commandment to properly seek and obtain Celestial living now and Eternal Life in Eternity--the very type and kind of Life that our Heavenly Parents have, enJOY, and seek for each of us, Their children, to have and enJOY too.
DREAMS means to confess (seek, receive, obey, acknowledge, reverence, and give thanks for) the hand of the Lord—in ALL THINGS His "Mind, Will, and Power in doing." His "guiding directing, comforting, and constant influence" (Russell M. Nelson) in every decision. The earth is a Divinely Designed and Orchestrated mortal schoolhouse, Millennial finishing school, and Eternal home. It is about family—God's Family (ALL of us) and being "set free" IN Christ. His Direction is the only thing that makes us fruitful, replenishes the earth, multiplies it, and subdues its essential opposition or puts it in its proper "reference and reverence" place in our minds, hearts, being, sphere, and Oneness with God, others, self, and all creation.
The Restoration of the Gospel in these Latter-days and the House of the Lord are the final part of this semester of preparation for the Master Teacher and Millennial Messiah to Return with His Finishing measures of Divine BA, MBA, PhD Curriculum and experience for our good.
"And all things shall be in commotion; and surely, men’s hearts shall fail them; for fear shall come upon all people. And angels shall fly through the midst of heaven, crying with a loud voice, sounding the trump of God, saying: Prepare ye, prepare ye, O inhabitants of the earth; for the judgment of our God is come. Behold, and lo, the Bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. And immediately there shall appear a great sign in heaven, and all people shall see it together"... "and there shall be a very great valley; And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal" (Eternity): - Doctrine and Covenants 88: 91-93 and Zechariah 14: 4-5.
Let's unpack these two scriptural declarations:
- commotion and fear reign amid darkness—loss of priesthood power and the Gift of the Holy Ghost--this is the Great Apostasy--which will continue in reducing fashion until the Gospel has properly sounded in every ear and heart in fulfillment of what Joseph Smith declared at the end of the Wentworth letter in 1842 concerning the Stone that King Nebuchadnezzar saw rolling forth to fill the whole earth: “No unhallowed hand can stop this work from progressing; persecutions may rage, mobs may combine, armies may assemble, calumny may defame, but the truth of God will go forth boldly, nobly, and independent, till it has penetrated every continent, visited every clime, swept every country, and sounded in every ear, till the purposes of God shall be accomplished, and the great Jehovah shall say the work is done.” (HC 5:540; WJS, p. 218. See original in TS 3 (March 1, 1842): 709).
- "SURELY men's hearts fail" because separation from Christ and fear grip ALL as the dominant motive in life. The darkness of the Great Apostasy came because the Father withdrew, for more than a millennium, the continuing influence of the Gift of the Holy Ghost going forth and spreading Priesthood Doctrine and Power. "SURELY" also declares that these failing hearts will be restored in the days of "refreshing"—which began in the Spring of 1820. None of us would come to earth without the Lord's SURE promise that, while there will be an essential season of darkness, we will ultimately be safe and saved.
- in Light "surely" (we can be confident that) once again a broken heart (denying self) and fear of God assures salvation.
- Restoration makes possible again the judgment of God (light, discernment, fear, the Spirit) to be "poured out upon all flesh." (Joel 2: 28).
- the Restoration is the angels' "trump of God" call to go out (flee darkness, commotion, fear) to meet the Lord.
- The Lord stands and is met in His "very great valley" of the Mountain(s) of the House of the Lord—that reaches unto Azal (Eternity).
- The Father and the Son appearing to Joseph Smith is the great sign in Heaven (The Sacred Grove is this dispensation's First Temple).
- Other angels include Moroni, John the Baptist, Peter, James, John, Moses, Elias, Elijah, Adam, and many others—all declaring that "the Bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet Him." This began with James declaring to Joseph Smith: "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God. Joseph then went out to meet the Lord... and in that now Sacred Grove, the Father Himself declared to Joseph and to all of us: "This is my beloved Son, Hear Him."
- The House of the Lord is Heaven on Earth wherein all together see "a great sign in heaven" (Telestial, Terrestrial, Celestial Rooms).
- the House of the Lord is where we are caught up to meet the Lord (made equal—joint heirs) in the air and heavens above the earth—"the pillar of heaven."
- with the words "Depart" and "We shall dismiss you without further ado—in the Name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Master" in the House of the Lord is fulfilled... "And another angel shall sound his trump, saying: That great church, the mother of abominations, that made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, that persecuteth the saints of God, that shed their blood—she who sitteth upon many waters, and upon the islands of the sea—behold, she is the tares of the earth; she is bound in bundles; her bands are made strong, no man can loose them; therefore, she is ready to be burned. And he shall sound his trump both long and loud, and all nations shall hear it. And there shall be silence in heaven for the space of half an hour; and immediately after shall the curtain of heaven be unfolded, as a scroll is unfolded after it is rolled up, and the face of the Lord shall be unveiled; And the saints that are upon the earth, who are alive, shall be quickened and be caught up to meet him. And they who have slept in their graves shall come forth, for their graves shall be opened; and they also shall be caught up to meet him in the midst of the pillar of heaven—" (Doctrine and Covenants 88: 94-97).
Spencer W. Kimball taught that: “When Satan is bound in a single home—when Satan is bound in a single life—the Millennium has already begun in that home, in that life” (The Teachings of Spencer W. Kimball, 172).
It is the refining Fire and Sanctifying Burnings within a soul, by which Satan is bound so that a soul has no more disposition to do evil. This is the great Design of our Creator—leading to the day in which "every knee will bow and every tongue will speak in worship before the Lord." (The Living Christ, 2000).
